GOD IS ALSO HATE

 There was a man who said, “I cannot believe how much he hurt me! I will hate him for the rest of my life.” 

 The Gadfly said, “Hate is like a stepping stone.  It is a good step forward to cross the stream, but it is not a good place to stand.”

 Someone spoke up saying, “How can you say that hate is a good step forward?  Hate is wrong.  It is the opposite of God’s love.” 

 The Gadfly replied, “Hate is not the opposite of love.  Hate is love.  It is love in pain.  If love is the presence of God, then so also is hate.  Shall we deny the presence of God because the pain staggers us?  The denial of our feelings does not lead to an abundance of life.  Embracing your pain that it may heal is the awakening of the soul’s springtime.  But living in your pain forever is the destruction of life.”
