THE VIRTUE OF MEDIOCRITY

 The Gadfly listened to a woman who was brilliantly successful.  She talked about how she values excellence and never settles for second best.  She demanded excellence from herself and from everyone around her, and strove to achieve the best in all things. 

 The Gadfly said to her, "Those who cannot be content with mediocrity in any area of their lives are destined to fall far short of it."
