JUDGMENTAL

A preacher had just finished telling a group of people they were all going to hell.  He railed against their competence as human beings, and made sure each one of them knew how spiritually low they were.  No one in the group was sure why he went off like this, but everyone felt it had something to do with questioning his beliefs.

Someone asked the preacher if he was being judgmental.

The preacher said, “I am just telling God’s truth.  If you think I am being judgmental, then it must be your guilt talking.”

The Gadfly spoke up saying, “Being judgmental requires discernment, and discernment thrives on open mindedness, and the soul of open mindedness is the freedom of the human spirit.  You can relax preacher, you are not being judgmental.”
