Bankruptcy of Faith The Socratic method is used to demonstrate that religious faith is completely dependent on non-religious (secular) knowledge in order to fulfill morality. In the absence of secular knowledge, religious faith is morally bankrupt. The Socratic Method is used to demonstrate that a husbands' authority over his wife is impossible to define as a Christian ideal in the modern world. |
